Lim Kian Onn, a member of the Board of Trustee of the Foundation is also the Group Managing Director of the ECM Libra Group. He is a Chartered Accountant with experience in the financial services sectors of Malaysia, Hong Kong and other regional markets. Prior to setting up the then Libra Group in the mid-1990s to provide stockbroking and fund management services, he held several senior positions in the finance and securities divisions of the Hong Leong Group. He was instrumental in transforming the Libra Group into ECM Libra, adding to it the current investment banking and advisory services. He is a respected corporate adviser in the field of mergers and acquisitions, corporate and debt restructurings, capital markets and the development of corporate finance strategies.
