ECM Libra Foundation’s Partnership with Starfish Malaysia Foundation in 2025

ECM Libra Foundation has partnered with Starfish Malaysia Foundation in 2025 to undertake several projects aimed at improving the living conditions and access to education for underprivileged rural communities. Based on our shared belief that education is a crucial avenue out of poverty, this collaboration has yielded significant contributions to the hostels managed by the Starfish Malaysia Foundation, which house underprivileged students.

Starfish Malaysia Foundation currently operates five hostels, providing a conducive environment for students to live and study. Under this partnership, ECM Libra Foundation provided funding for the following projects:

• A van for Sunflower Hostel, ensuring safe and reliable transportation for the students.
• Floor tiles and furnishing for Hostel Marigold, enhancing the living conditions for its residents.
• A water storage tank, addressing the essential water needs of the hostels.
• Toilets and bathroom repairs for Hostel Rose, ensuring proper sanitation and hygiene for the students.
• Replacement of mattresses, pillows, and beds for various hostels, contributing to the comfort and well-being of the students.

This partnership underscores the commitment of both ECM Libra Foundation and Starfish Malaysia Foundation to support and uplift the underprivileged rural communities by providing them with the necessary resources to access quality education and improve their living conditions.
