The Government’s Movement Control Order (MCO) to curb the pandemic affected every Malaysian. The ECM Libra Foundation launched the food aid program in June 2020 to help the marginalised communities most affected by the pandemic.

Together with The Chow Kit Kitchen and through several NGOs, the Foundation distributed food to more than 2300 individuals for almost a year. It also supplied monthly groceries to more than 1,600 families during this period. The food aid programme continues, targeting different groups.

In August 2021, ECM Libra Foundation partners with LS Group to provide daily distributions of 500 lunch boxes to the old folks homes, orphanages and some very poor villages in Seremban and its surrounding areas. Some of the old folks’ homes are MERCY Nursing Home, Pusat Penjagaan Warga Usia Emas Tong Sim and Pusat Jagaan Warga Emas dan Terapi Fitrah while the orphanages and others are Pertubuhan Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Nathisar, Pusat Jagaan Orang Kurang Upaya Si Putih and the villages in Rahang, Mambau and Temiang, to name a few.
